2. General notes
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (GDPR, German Federal Data Protection Act, German Telecommunications Telemedia Data Protection Act) and this privacy policy.
When you use this website, various items of personal data are collected. Personal data is data that can be used to identify you personally. This privacy policy explains what data we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this is done.
We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
3. Hosting and server location
This website is hosted on a server in Germany operated by DHB GmbH. There is no outsourcing to third-party hosters. Personal data processed via this website remains within the European Union, with the exception of the data processing described under "Google Analytics".
4. Data collection when visiting the website (server log files)
When you visit our website, our web server automatically collects technical information that your browser transmits. This includes:
- Anonymised IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- URL accessed and HTTP status code
- Browser and operating system used
- Referrer URL (previously visited page)
This data is processed exclusively for operating, securing and stabilising the website. The data is not combined with other data sources, nor used for any personal evaluation. The logs are deleted or anonymised after no more than seven days.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically secure provision of the website).
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.
Technically necessary cookies are set to ensure the proper operation of the website — for example, to remember your language selection (German/English). These cookies are necessary on the basis of legitimate interest and/or for contractual performance (Art. 6 (1) lit. b and f GDPR, § 25 (2) TTDSG) and are set without consent.
Optional cookies (e.g. for analytics purposes such as Google Analytics) are only set after your express consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR, § 25 (1) TTDSG). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or via the settings in the footer.
You can also configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.
6. Google Analytics 4
With your express consent, this website uses the web analytics service Google Analytics 4 (GA4). The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Tracking ID: G-6YKT1GN213
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse the use of this website. Data collected includes anonymised IP address, device information, time spent on site, pages visited and approximate location (city level).
Consent Mode v2: We use Google Consent Mode v2. As long as you have not given consent, the website only sends so-called "cookieless pings" to Google — without cookies, without IP address and without identifier. Full tracking is only activated after your consent.
Data transfer to the USA: When tracking is active, the data collected is transmitted to Google servers in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate basis for the data transfer to the USA. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Storage period: The usage data stored in Google Analytics is automatically deleted after 14 months.
Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner or the settings in the footer. In addition, you can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by installing a browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG (consent).
7. Contact form and email contact
If you contact us via the contact form or by email (support@exalyser.com), your details (name, email address, content of the message) will be stored with us for the purpose of processing your request and in case of follow-up questions.
This data is not passed on to third parties — with the exception that the technical transmission of the email is carried out via the mail server of our provider IONOS SE (Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany). A data processing agreement is in place with IONOS.
Storage period: We store the data until the purpose of storage no longer applies (e.g. after the request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions — in particular commercial and tax retention periods (up to 10 years) — remain unaffected.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract); for purely voluntary enquiries, Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries) and Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent), if given.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
9. Your rights as a data subject
You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you, as well as access to that data.

- Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR): You can withdraw consent given at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, an informal message by email to support@exalyser.com or by post to the address given in the imprint is sufficient.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.
The competent supervisory authority for DHB GmbH is:

12. Updates and changes to this privacy policy
This privacy policy is currently valid and is dated 1 May 2026. As our website and offers continue to develop, or due to changes in legal or regulatory requirements, it may be necessary to amend this privacy policy. The current privacy policy can be accessed and printed from this page at any time.
